How knucklehorn.com handles your information.

This policy explains what information knucklehorn.com collects, how cookies are used, and the choices you have. Knucklehorn is a band based in Castle Rock, Colorado. If you have questions, email booking@knucklehorn.com.

Information we collect

  • Orders. When you buy merch we collect your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number (if given) and order details so we can fulfill and support your order.
  • Payments. Card payments are processed by WooPayments (powered by Stripe) and PayPal. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Email sign-ups. If you join our mailing list, your email address is stored by Jetpack / WordPress.com so we can send show dates and merch news. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Messages. If you email us, we keep your message and address to reply.
  • Site usage. Our statistics tools record basic visit information such as pages viewed, browser type, referring site and IP address.

How we use it

  • To process, ship and support orders
  • To send emails you signed up for
  • To understand which pages are popular and keep the site working and secure
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

  • Printful: prints and ships our merch, so it receives the name, address and items for each order.
  • WooPayments / Stripe and PayPal: process payments and help prevent fraud.
  • WooCommerce Tax: calculates sales tax using your address.
  • Jetpack / WordPress.com (Automattic): site statistics, security and email subscriptions.
  • Akismet: screens form and comment submissions for spam.
  • Our web host (Vultr): stores the website and its data.

Cookies

Cookies are small files saved by your browser. We use them for:

  • Essential cookies that keep your cart, checkout and account working (set by WooCommerce and WordPress).
  • Payment and fraud-prevention cookies set by Stripe and PayPal during checkout.
  • Statistics from Jetpack Stats and our visitor statistics tool.
  • Your cookie choice, so the cookie notice does not keep reappearing.

Embedded content

Some pages include content from other sites: our Facebook events, SoundCloud player and YouTube videos. Loading these may let Facebook (Meta), SoundCloud and Google/YouTube set their own cookies and collect data as described in their privacy policies. YouTube videos use the privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie.com) mode. Our fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes. Mailing-list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Statistics are kept in summary form.

Your choices

  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The shop needs essential cookies to work.
  • Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email.
  • Ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing booking@knucklehorn.com. We may keep order records we are legally required to keep.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
